Covid-19: How we keep you safe

As a medical clinic, we have always adhered to the highest cleaning and hygiene standards and we now go even further! As the wellbeing and satisfaction of our clients is of the greatest importance to us, we have put further processes in place to ensure that you are completely safe when you visit us.

All of our team are fully vaccinated and some of us (including Dr. Safari herself!) have recovered from Covid. Any team member that develops symptoms or tests positive for Covid will stay at home until they are fully recovered. To protect each other and our community, we ask the same from our clients as well.

We clean and sanitise our rooms, equipment and surfaces regularly, including a deep clean at the end of every day.

We ask all of our clients to wear a mask when you visit us. You won’t be alone – we will all be wearing one too. If you don’t have a mask, we will provide one for you. We also have hand sanitizer for you to use.

Dr. Safari adheres to the Medical Council rules and will be wearing protective wear, including a N95 or equivalent mask, gloves and protective eyewear. It’s not the most attractive outfit, but it does its job to keep everyone safe.

We have included a couple of common questions below and our team are happy to answer any additional questions that you may have -

How long must I wait after receiving my Covid vaccination before I have Botox® or Dermal Fillers?
There is no official guidance that recommends avoiding Botox® or Dermal Fillers after your Covid-19 vaccination.  Nonetheless, we recommend waiting 2 weeks for your vaccination to take full effect before you have Botox® or Dermal Fillers.

How long must I wait after testing positive for Covid before I can have treatment?
If you are asymptomatic (you do not have any symptoms) and you do not have a cough or fever after 14 days since the date of your positive test, you can safely receive treatment.

Most people that develop Covid symptoms recover quickly and are fortunately able to resume their normal lives after the recommended isolation period. Sadly for some, the effects of the virus can last for a longer period. This is known as “Long Covid”. If this is the case, it is recommended that you wait until you feel completely well before having treatment.

The benefit of choosing a practitioner that is both an expert medically as well as aesthetically is that they will take a thorough medical history prior to treatment and be able to discuss risks and concerns before your treatment. We will always encourage our clients to put time and effort into choosing the right practitioner for you – this was important before the pandemic and is vital now.

Your experience may feel a bit different to previous times, but your treatment outcome will always be of the highest quality. We will do our best to ensure your visit is enjoyable and you will continue to be greeted by warm smiles (albeit, behind masks for now!).

We are always here to answer any questions, so please do get in touch if you want to discuss anything ahead of your treatment.
