What is Profilho®?

Profilho® is a skin remodeling treatment consisting of pure Hyaluronic Acid. Whilst it contains pure Hyaluronic Acid, it is not a dermal filler.  Dermal fillers typically volumise, whereas Profilho® stimulates the creation of new collagen and elastin in the superficial layers, just under the surface of the skin.

 

As one of the highest concentrations of Hyaluronic Acid on the market, Profilho® not only boosts and hydrates the skin, but also remodels ageing and sagging tissue.

Although the actual procedure only takes 15 minutes, Dr. Safari will ask you to come in 30 minutes beforehand for a topical anesthetic to help make the procedure as comfortable as possible for you. Clients are also offered a complimentary 20 minute Omnilux following treatment.

How many treatments will I need and what is the cost?

Profilho® involves 2 treatments, with 1 month in between. It takes a few weeks for the treatment to work, so most clients will start to see results after the second treatment. The first treatment stimulates the hydration process, with the second treatment further hydrating and ensuring longevity.

 

As 2 treatments are required to complete the procedure, when both treatments are booked the cost will be $800 per treatment. For booster or one-off treatments, the cost is $850 per treatment.

 

Where skin texture is severely lacking in laxity, a third treatment one month later may be required.

 

How long will the results last?

It is recommended to repeat the results annually. However, some clients choose to have a booster treatment after 6 months.
